Does this Extract Numbers tool upload my text?
No. The extraction happens in your browser, so the text does not need to be sent to a server for this tool to work.
Can it keep decimal numbers?
Yes. Keep decimals is on by default, so values such as 12.5 stay together.
Can it keep negative numbers?
Yes. Keep negatives is on by default, so values such as -20 remain negative.
What does Clean separators do?
It removes thousands separators such as commas, so 1,250 becomes 1250 in the result.
Can it remove duplicate numbers?
Yes. Use Unique only to keep one copy of each cleaned number.
What does Stats show?
Stats shows count, unique values, sum, average, minimum, and maximum for the extracted numeric values.
Does it handle currencies and percentages?
It extracts the numeric value from text that may contain currency symbols or percent signs, but it does not preserve those symbols as separate labels.
Does it exclude dates or phone numbers?
No. This tool extracts number-shaped text. Date parsing and phone-number extraction belong in more specific tools.
