MEET OUR FIRST FOCUS TOOL
OneLess Pomodoro
A flexible Pomodoro timer built around the time you actually spend focusing. Make room for study, writing, deep work, or simply the next thing in front of you.
No account or payment needed to begin.
A TIMER FOR THE DAY YOU ACTUALLY HAVE
You planned
You focused
An interrupted block can still hold useful work. OneLess Pomodoro keeps actual focus time at the center of your records, so a changed plan does not erase the time you used.
Find your focus rhythmAdjust focus, short-break, and long-break lengths. Save a preset when you find a pattern that fits the way you work.
Keep optional tasks beside the timer and use daily or weekly time goals when a target helps you begin.
Look back at focus and break time in daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Notice how your work actually unfolded.
Choose a calm scene or ambient sound. Keep the small popout timer alongside the work already open.
Settings and records are saved locally in your browser. They do not automatically follow you to another device, and clearing site data can remove them.

ATTENTION · ROUTINES · REST
Focus begins before the timer runs. It starts with choosing what matters next, finding a manageable piece of work, and making enough space to give it your attention.
This area is for the moments around concentration: settling into study, returning to a draft, starting a work block, or taking a break without losing your place. Different tasks call for different rhythms. The goal is to help you find a routine you can actually use.
OneLess Pomodoro brings focus blocks, flexible breaks, time goals, and local reports together. As Focus grows, we want to explore more ways to support planning, returning to a task, and understanding the time you spend.
SMALL NEEDS, REAL DAYS
Reading, revision, language practice, and working through exercises can each benefit from a clear next step. Choose a small section, use a focus block, and leave a note about where to return.
Begin a study block ↗A report may need a word count. Copied notes may need cleaner paragraphs. A column may need to become a list. Handle that small piece, then return to the work it belongs to.
Find a practical tool ↗Writing, coding, designing, and making things involve small checks and repeated revisions. A clearer draft or a visible text difference can help you decide what to change next.
Compare two drafts ↗
PRACTICE · DISCOVERY · PROGRESS
Sometimes you want to know how something went before deciding what to do next. A short practice round, a clear comparison, or an easy-to-repeat check can turn an uncertain impression into something you can inspect.
Tests begins with a free English Typing Test: a short attempt, speed and accuracy, and a useful next practice. An optional arcade challenge adds a shared countdown and high scores. Memory, reaction time and learning checks remain directions to explore.
A useful test needs understandable instructions, a clear explanation of its result, and a reason to try again. We want progress to be something you can learn from, with the limits of each activity explained.

PREPARE · CLEAN UP · CONVERT · COMPARE
Online work is full of small transitions. Text moves from a PDF into a document. A spreadsheet becomes a list. A heading needs a different case. Two versions need comparing before one can be shared.
Tools is for those practical moments. The current collection covers text, writing, lists, Image Light tools for preparing pictures, and Color tools for palettes, conversion, and contrast. Over time, the ambition is to bring the same care to more tasks involving files, images, formatting, and everyday information.
A tool should make its purpose clear, show the result in a readable form, and help you take the output where it needs to go. Short examples and explanations belong close to the action, with fuller guidance available when you need it.
A GROWING PRACTICAL LIBRARY
Understand length, change case, inspect repeated words, and prepare a draft for its next use.
Word Counter ↗Clean repeated entries, change separators, or pull useful details out of pasted text.
Newline to Comma ↗Preparing, converting, and moving information between formats is a direction we hope to develop.
Part of the longer-term visionImage Light begins with resizing, target file sizes, image compression, format conversion, cropping, rotation, mirroring, and dimension checks, with more visual tasks still to come.

You came to finish a small task. The next step should help you continue.
A tool often enters your day while you are already doing something else. You are preparing a document, studying, making something, or trying to get back to a larger piece of work.
When a signup step, payment decision, or unexpected limit appears halfway through, that small task grows. You search again, compare again, and repeat work that was almost finished. No Pay Just Use began with the wish to make those moments easier.
OneLess describes the feeling afterward: a little more room, one fewer interruption, and a small problem that no longer needs your attention. That idea can guide a timer, a learning activity, a practical utility, or something we have not built yet.

A LONGER HORIZON
The first priority is to fill out and refine Focus, Tests, and Tools. There is no fixed timetable for what follows. These are the directions we hope the site can grow into as the foundations become stronger.
Add useful tools, improve their behavior, write clearer guidance, and make the experience feel connected. Growth should include returning to what already exists and making it better.
In time, the site could also become a home for independently built tools and apps: a place to introduce what they do, explain why they were made, and help people discover whether they fit a real need.
If the site develops an active community, we hope to explore support, giving, and activities beyond the tools themselves. Any future initiative should have a clear purpose and an understandable way to take part.
These are long-term aspirations. Project listings, support, and donation activities are not open yet.
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
No Pay Just Use is a growing home for OneLess: tools and experiences organized around Focus, Tests, and Tools. OneLess Pomodoro is our first focus tool, alongside practical Text, Image Light, and Color tools for writing, preparing images, and working with color. The wider direction includes learning, everyday digital work, and future creations.
OneLess is the small relief after an obstacle is handled: one less search, one less detour, or one less unfinished task taking up attention. It is the experience we want the different parts of the site to share.
OneLess Pomodoro is our first focus tool and the starting point for the site. It makes the idea concrete: begin without an account or payment step, choose a routine, and see the time you actually used.
The current tools open without an account or payment step. Each tool explains its own options so you can choose what is useful for the task in front of you.
Yes. You can adjust focus and break lengths and save routines as presets. Optional tasks, time goals, scenes, sounds, and reports are available when you want more support around the session.
Pomodoro is available in Focus. Tools includes 24 text tools, 22 Image Light tools, and 29 Color tools for writing, image preparation, palettes, conversion, and contrast. Typing Test is available in Tests, with standard practice and an optional arcade challenge. More file, image, and other everyday tools are part of the longer-term direction.
That is part of the long-term ambition. After building out the three main areas, we hope there can be room to introduce other tools and apps we create, and eventually explore community support and outside activities. There is no announced schedule.
Start with the short explanation beside the tool and its help controls. The field notes provide longer examples and practical guides, along with stories about the site and the tools behind it.
